ALAN CAME TO THE US WHEN HE WAS 5 NOW DETAINED AND THREATENED WITH DEPORTATION

Use prosecutorial discretion to release Alan Muñoz Paisano from Stewart Detention Center!

Why is this important?

Alan Muñoz Paisano Alan came to the United States in 1999 when he was only 5 years old; he has been in this country for 17 years. He has become an important member of his community. He graduated from South Cobb High School in 2012 and has been working to save money for tuition to eventually go to school.

Unfortunately in 2014, Alan made a terrible decision that has changed his life forever. After attending a party Alan got behind the wheel and drove home under the influence of alcohol, a mistake that he regrets every day. This past June, Alan completed his probation.

On August 10 he left his home to go to work, when he was stopped by two unmarked cars. When the officers approached him, Alan asked for an arrest warrant, which they did not have. It turned out they were immigration agents who took him into custody. He has been in immigration detention since then.

Please release Alan from detention so that he can be reunited with his family and community. Alan understands that he made a terrible mistake. Please give Alan an opportunity to give back to his community.

Atlanta, GA, United States
