Don’t Let Guadalupe Be One of Trump’s First Deportees

ICE, with the help of the Phoenix police department, deported Lupita las night.

We will keep fighting to create protections in Phoenix against aggressive enforcement.

Do not deport Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos (#095782449)

Please sign the petition and then call Senator McCain at (602) 952-2410 and ask him to support Guadalupe. You can also call the Phoenix ICE office for Director Carter at (602) 766-7030 so that they know she has support.

Why is this important?

Guadalupe García de Rayos is a mother of two who came to the US when she was 14 years old.

Nine years ago, Sheriffs carrying out an unconstitutional raid led by Arizona’s Arpaio arrested her for working to support her family. She spent six months in ICE detention before being released to her family, but now, she’s being called back in by federal agents.

This week, Guadalupe faces possible deportation due to Trump’s new declarations calling for the immediate removal of all people with charges regardless of circumstances. Guadalupe and her family are facing the reality that she may soon be separated from the children she has worked so hard to support.

Angel, 16, and Jacqueline, 14, grew up with the fear of Arpaio's racially motivated reign and although a federal judge declared Arpaio’s raids unconstitutional, ICE agents still may attempt to separate this family.
Her community is rallying around her and is asking you to do the same.

How it will be delivered

We are rallying to support Guadalupe and her family and demand she not be deported. This is one of Trumps first deportees and we have to halt the Trump effect and protect our community. Her community will rally Wednesday, February 8th @11:30 2035 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004-1553, United States
