Why is this important?
Hector Armando Pelayo Martínez was inappropriately touched by a doctor while in ICE custody. Hector called the police but when they arrived, GEO guards would not allow them to enter the facility (NWDC). In a statement to La Resistencia, Hector said:
“What happened with the doctor, that’s not right, he touched my bottom and put me in a position, I screamed NO, he said just relax. That’s not right, that’s disgusting, I called the police but GEO didn’t allow them to enter, since then nothing happens, I’m scared and in a deep depression.
Hector has a court date on 1/4/24. Tell GEO and ICE to meet Hector’s demands!
